There's a lot of great hooks and great emotion in this entire album, but the weakest link is Rebel in my humble opinion.

In my opinion, the weakest songs are Rebel, Save Her and Native Nature. The best are Armageddon, So Alive and Beautiful Pain

Those are the heaviest, most badass tracks on the album! Like ive said before, Native Nature is like Skid Row Slave To The Grind style, one of the best albums from that era. Rebel is like Shout At The Devil album style By Crue, one of the best of that era.

Its a win win situation!!!

The cd arrived today, after a rockin' night on Albiano

442 - Yeah a good intro!!! Short but great!!!
ARMAGEDDON - IMHO, the best track!!! And live is so awesome!!!
SO ALIVE - "I'm on my waaaaaaaay" - awesome!!!
GENERATION WILD - The chorus is very catchy!!! Perfect to sing live!!!
REBEL - It reminds me "Kickstart My Heart" by Crue...
SAVE HER - My favourite Crashdïet's ballad. Simon is amazing here!!!
DOWN WITH THE DUST - It's pure RIS's Taste!!! Reminds me Riot In Everyone for its feeling!!!
NATIVE NATURE - bluesy and hard at the same time. It has a great power inside!!!
CHEMICAL - It's not my favourite but still a good song! And becomes better on every listen!
BOUND TO FALL - So gooood!!! Maybe a bit overproduced? (I'm not an expert but on 03:30 Simon's voice sounds "a bit autotuned"... but maybe it's just me... Great song anyway!!!)
BEAUTIFUL PAIN - At the first impact I tought it was a bit boring... But after 2/3 listens, it "improved" a lot!! very emotional lyrics... And good guitar's sound! It's like the sunshine after the storm!!!

Finally...
I'm a bit disappointed because SICK MIND isn't included (I'd switch with Rebel or Chemical but I see lots of people lovin' these tracks so it's not a good idea )... Maybe 10 tracks aren't enough... I'm thinking about a "12 tracks GW" with Sick Mind and One Of A Kind too :guitar:

The album is very good... It's too early for me so I can't say if it's better than "Rest In Sleaze", and I probably won't compare it to the past...

"Rebel" makes me wanna kill someone. One of the best songs from the band, ever. I LOVE it. "Bound To Fall" is also one of the best in the entire catalogue. I think those two will remain my favorite songs off of the album.

"So Alive" and "Beautiful Pain" both bore me out, I skip them everytime. The rest of the album rocks though.

Another REBEL lover! It sure is one of there best songs!! Better then like half of ris and all of tur imo.

After a quite a few lsitens and time for this great album to sink in, here's my thoughts:

Favourite Tracks:
Chemical - starts off a bit shakey but blows me a way by the end
Beautiful Pain - an absolute classic. it's dark, emotional, full of angst ... i love it
Down With The Dust - my favourite out-and-out rocker on the album
Native Nature - Agressive and powerful. Seb Bach... eat your heart out!

Least Favourite:
Rebel - it's just a little too simple. no "meat" in it.
Save Her - initially this was my least favourite, but it's growing on me

Others:
Bound To Fall - a great surprise after it didn't do much for me live, the album verison is sensational
Armageddon - brilliant ballsy start to the album
Generation Wild - maybe i over listened to this one wiht the SRM cd single...

WOW! you age really quickly! Reading this post you made only last year you were 44. Now all of a sudden you are 54. That's 10 years aging in only 1 year. Either you're lying to us, or you've found the "fountain of age". Which is it?

442 - Building up nice, sounds like riots and chainz pretty cool.

Armageddon - I didn't reallylike this song at first cuz of the "boring" verse but when the bridge comes I already know it's going to be an awsome chorus which it is. And in the end I can't keep my mouth shut, I love screaming ARMAGEDDON!!!

So Alive - I love how it just start immediatly, and this song I love the verse! But I love the chorus even more because of the perfect choirs. Out of control but it feels alriiite!! This song also has one of the best solos on the record in my opinion!

Generation Wild - Perfect song really, nothing to say. A classic! Even tho I probaböy listened to it a bit to much before the album was released.

REBEL - Ok this song is something, something special. The lyrcs, the Shout At the Devil/Nitro kind of riff, ROCK N ROLL!!! I think this song might be their best. Simons screams, the solo... I'M A REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE!!!

Save Her - Perfect tracklisting, something calm and sad after the perfect rebel. I think this is one of simons best songs, as mr Baccardï said, he does it with such feeling!!! Not to mention the line, "She comes undone, dead and nowhere to run, sweet lips around a loaded gun, pulls the trigger and the bullet won..." I wonder if gunn wrote that...

Down With The Dust - I am very surprised over erics preformance, as I said, I love this tune. But I can't really desribe what I like about it so much. It's all together cool. Very nice melodies.

Native Nature - Next best after rebel, the bluesy feel combined with the lyrics about when simon was beaten robbed and wakes up. And I love the quote "Whats it gotta do with you?" Fit's for everything. But I don't like solo very much so that's the only minus for that song.

Chemical - Like I said, A bit boring and not my type of song until the all I need part. But that part is so FUCKING catchy! It's so perfect! One last kiss of death!

Bound To Fall - Live, not so good. Atleast from what I've heard from the youtube clips. But the album version is fucking great. The best line in this song for me is, "A little girl, hiding from the city lights. He's just a boy on stroll out tonight.

Beautiful Pain - The album ender couldn't have been more perfectly placed. I love it, as with save her simon sounds so honest and such feeling. The best solo on the album!!!

So that's my review and I can't see any reason to rank it lower then 10/10. It doesn't sound overproduced like TUR and since simon is an amazing songwriter and he wrote most of the lyrics by himself he sounds so much more honest then olli did. I also like simons voice more then ollis and I think it fits good with the old songs too! Thank you so much CRASHDÏET for this album.

Oh, and let's hope we get it on inyl with sick mind as a B-side or that they play it live, the sample was very good. Goodnite!!!

Ok after listening to the album a few times, I must say that I absolutely LOVE it!
Congratz guys! In my opinnion its right up there with RIS. This shouldve been the second album...
Favourite song: Armageddon. For me its the new Riot In Everyone.
