The problem is in Nottingham, everyone into rock already knows CRASHDïET. It's hard to promote them in the city here.

I visit other places all the time though so I can take flyers and stickers and put them up everywhere

If I have a job I may be at both though. Just because I can.

I know about the Wildside club nights and I'm fuckin' envious. Cos Decadence sucks, Sin City sucks and whatever wannabe other glam nights at Purple Turtle or anywhere else suck too... Why? Because there are like what... all in all 5 glam/sleaze lovin' DJs who always play the SAME STUFF over and over again... There's a serious need of a new generation. Not only for new sleaze but to dust some old good music too. My mates keep bugging me about me becoming a DJ ever since I did 1 hour at Decadence but hell, I have no idea about this all... But I do know we need a change in this city. ASAP!!

Well I guess it's kind of the same at Wildside, if you go every month the songs get very repetitive but it's still a great night out because of the company.

A street team night out somewhere glam would be a good idea I think though, give everyone a chance to properly get to know everyone else

Yeah. Some Crashdïet party here in Finland would be great, easy to arrange and it would be a succes. Every time we have party when going out somewhere, like last weekend, we all played Crashdïet from youtube all the time n RIS - dvd was playing all the time. have to keep this in my mind, Crashdïet part is about to born. Maybe when the new album is out or/ and maybe if the Finland gigs takes place at some point.

Nottingham probably has the only club in the UK that has a night for Sleaze glam. I gigged there though and it was shit, way dissappointing. Nottinghams a shit tip also lol!

Even so, shows the power of just a little promotion!

Wildside can be strongly hit or miss depending on the month and who's there. And don't insult my city, Nottingham's actually amazing but then, I know all the best pubs

I live by a city voted the 5th worst place to live in, in the world! So i think i can judge a shit hole or not. Nottingham has great history, but if theres a place you are likely to get knifed in, its Nottingham.

Nah, in Nottingham you're more likely to get shot. Gun crime capital of the UK and all that.

I don't know anyone who's been shot though, and my mates all live in the shit areas

Does Whiskey not go on at the Golden Cross in Coventry any more?

It seems like most of them open up, do a couple of nights then shut down again. There's a couple in south Wales but god knows how long they'll last.

Wildside's been going strong for six years, despite three venue closures.

Coventrys pretty far away from me still. i gigged there also....another disappointing venue, its closed down though i heard.

Alex, you go to Decadence and Sin City several more times and you'll get tired of it - both music and same people all the time. There's another wannabe glam thingie as I mentioned before - We Are the Pigs (former Stay Beautiful I believe) and it's either first or last Saturday of a month at Purple Turtle, Mornington Crescent. But I don't really know what it's like there. Sucks workin' on Saturdays.....

Anyway, successful flyering at O2 Academy Islington tonight. Ha!

Stay Beautiful is more.. Manic Street Preachers kind of alt 90s glam, if that makes any kind of sense
