You must have heard of this band, I think their debut album was pretty good. I don't like the follow up though but still an outstanding talent this band.

They are great! I love the second album two,they are young and energic and one of the best band on the metal scene with Crashdiet. I already told to Peter that would be awesome a tour of Crashdiet as headliner and Santa Cruz as opening band. I'm going to see them in march in Italy

I really like them! Right now I like the first album best, but I guess its just a matter of how much I've listened to them. Some albums needs some spins before I really like them. I'm actually planning on seeing Reckless Love and Santa Cruz in february! When I first heard the tour was announced, I was like "yay, cool tour. not a chance in the world theyre playing Norway" haha. But they are!

I went to check, but it looks like it's just Reckless Love, at least in Norway D: with some stupid local band as support. so bummed right now. I knew it was too good to be true. I missed SC the last time I had the opportunity to see them as well, at Rockingham.

hopefully... I wanted to see them in London at the end of March, not so keen on seeing too much of Olli though
Instead check this song out, what a hook the chorus has, it's unbelievably good!

It saddens me a little that I've never heard of this band until today! I'm so out of the loop, haha. They remind me a lot of Dirty Penny, who amusingly enough were from Santa Cruz, CA.

I missed Santa Cruz co-touring with Moustache in Sweden earlier this year, and now they aren't coming here again for their new tour. Typical. -_- If I wouldn't have moved from Finland... But they seem to be pretty popular so I guess I'll have the chances to see them live at some point in the near future!

A friend told me about them years ago and I totally forgot until this year. I don't know if you'd get into them that much just from the records. But on top of the good music, they have awesome videos that do their music justice. I would love to work on something crazy like that. There's a 'making of' video on YouTube for Wasted and Wounded.

very, very, VERY different types of bands. Both great in their own way but I'd almost say they are at the opposite extremes of the "sleaze" sound.

Hm...well, maybe it's just me, as I am admittedly somewhat lost and confused in this genre anymore. But when I listened to the first song posted in this topic I immediately heard Dirty Penny's "Midnight Ride" mixed with "Runnin' Wild" mixed with one other song that I can't quite place, with a slightly more versatile sounding voice plus a Finnish accent.glam_junkie wrote: very, very, VERY different types of bands.

Yea similar riffs but still musically quite different I think. Dirty Penny had good songs but they looked like the typical American high school footballer types of guys, which I always found very off-putting.

Fair enough. It was not so much their look but their attitude that seemed a little off to me. They gave off the feeling of "we're doing this because we think it's cool to have a band and be rock stars" as opposed to "we're doing this because our music is our passion and we love what we create." That makes a huge difference in the quality of a band, something distinct but intangible that isn't always obvious on the surface.
