he got rated the most influencial person in the Australian music industry this year.
so yes... he is powerful and pretty reliable (by all accounts).
it is definitely the best festival for the guys to get on if they can.

Soundwave have posted an update as to why crashdiet were not announced on the line-up

It can be read here:

It seems maybe all negotiation were with the bands manager who passed away recently and all new re-negotiations were not completed in time for the line-up announcement.

Hopefully crashdiet can still be announced in the next lot of bands to be announced.

Our booking agent is looking into this and hopefully we can pull it off. We're totally up for it of course, it just depends on how much of our expenses (flight tickets & hotels) they'd be up for covering :lol:

Crashdiet in Australia would be the best thing ever!! Try keep us updated? Is there any chance we'd find out by ticket sales? (5 days away) . If you did would u guys do any other shows? signings or pub crawls? :p <3

Great news. Hope things work out this time around.
I haven't purchased a ticket yet based on the first lot of bands announced, but was hoping some bands I want to see were in the 2nd line up to be announced.

This year the festival will go for 2 days instead of 1.

Make sure you negotiate to have some of your own shows aswell. If not, I'll be putting on one here in Adelaide!
