Yeah....The Lost Boys is indeed awesome, and Edward Scissorhands, Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman (SO clichée, but so great!). Home Alone - kinda classic...Interview with the Vampire, Romeo and Juliet, From tusk till dawn, the crow, girl interrupted, Sleepy Hollow.... :)
Yeah that's the (cheesy) stuff I like :P

The movie adaption of Into the Wild was premiered in 2007 and filming started in 2006, so it's neither an 80's nor 90's film. ;) But it's a great one!

I was almost gonna post that one, but wasnt sure since the thread was originally about 80s and 90s films.

But I LOVE it. Love it love it love it. Its my all time favourite movie, I even have a tattoo. I'm a huge nerd about it too. xD I love to hear different versions of the songs (different languages). I think I would die if I got to see footage from when they set it up here in Norway in 1977. xD

Ha, sorry guys and girls, running away from the 80's/90's theme, its because i've just watched Into The Wild!
Anyone watched 'The Warriors'? think that might even be the 70's though! I've never seen 'Rocky Horror..' I'll have to give a go!
Horror movie that scared the hell out of me when I was younger was 'Candyman'!!

Dont forget, its the best movie ever

When talking about it, has anybody seen the sequel? Its called Shock Treatment from 1981. Its got lot of the same actors (the actors who play Riff Raff, Magenta, the narrator, Columbia), but they have other roles. The only charachters from Rocky Horror is Brad and Janet, and the couple who get married at the start. All of it takes place in a tv studio. I spent really long time to understand the movie, not sure if it actually is that deep, or if its just me thats a little blonde. But its worth seeing.

I watched Rude Boy yesterday, it's a half-documentary about a fan becoming a roadie for the punk band The Clash. I liked it.

I really like "Johnny Handsome" too.. '89! I must admit I have a thing for Mickey Rourke in his golden years, but handsomness apart, that's a good movie :) Same for Harley Davidson & Marlboro Man!

Please do, it's a classic ^^
It was made in the 70's and it was shoking for the era, loads of violence. Now we're used to violence, even on news channels, but it's great.. Just watch it with a 70's eye  Let me know then! :)

Some more films came to my mind: Airheads (a heavy metal band breaks into an radio station to bring them to play their record and it soon evolves into a hostage situation), Dazed and Confused (about the lifes of some american highschool kids in '76), The Doors (a mostly fictional interpretation of the life of Jim Morrison), Pink Floyd's The Wall (no description necessary) and Detroit Rock City (about some underage fans struggling to see a KISS concert). Some people also like The Who's Tommy or Quadrophenia, but I could never bring myself to understand them.

I also rememberred Rock Star and Almost Famous, though they are early 2000's movies.
