Anybody wish they made films like 'Big Trouble In Little China', 'Tango and Cash', 'The Lost Boys' 'Beverly Hills Cop' 'Teminator 2' these days? I never get bored of them, any other 80's/90's ones you guys have seen that you love/recommend?

I havent seen the films you mentioned, but I just LOVE Police Academy. All of them. Of course, the first ones are a bit better, but the last ones are good too. i guess thats my favourite movies from 80s/90s. I love movies from that time in general, so I think I might like this thread.

I also like films of that eras a lot. But I suck at commanding my memory, so there are few that come to my mind now. And these are Rock Star, Detroit Rock City, This is Spinal Tap, American Werewolf in London, Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula, Falling Down, The Boondock Saints, Fight Club and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

The Lost Boys also remembers me of another vampire movie called Vampires: Los Muertos with Jon Bon Jovi. It was quite some time after watching that, that I realized he is a rock singer.

Oh Trick or Treat are great. That kinda horror movie about the dead rockstar to contacts a fan from the other side. I normally hate horror movies because I get so scared, but I love that one.
Smokey and the Bandit are great too, maybe a bit to early (I think the first one came out in 79 or something). I have a kinda weird taste in movies. I doesnt really make sense. xD

Police Academy and Waynes World films are amazing! You should definitely checkout Big Trouble In Little China and Beverly Hills Cop! Cobra, Kickboxer and Best of the Best for some 80's cut-off denim! The Lethal Weapon films are also great action and really funny! Cannonball Run if you like Smokey and the Bandit! Think I've seen the bon jovi one aswell! Point Break with a bit of Ratt on the soundtrack!

Yeah, those Tim Burton movies were great! But what about his Batman movies? And he also made that Frankenweenie shortfilm, that he remade as a blockbuster recently, back then.

Jim Henson made Labyrinth and Dark Crystal, as well as some The Muppets movies in that timespan.

And three The Addams Family movies popped up in the '90s, as well as two new seasons for the tv-show.

Dude, 20 years of film and I'm a movie lover. I don't feel like putting the time and effort into writing down all the great movies from those two decades :P

I love 2000s movies with overdone visuals and a truckload of special effects, so... nope.
