It definitely is!! Russian and German are both hard to learn. But German is an important language, for tourism in our Country for example :)
If you choose Russian or Finnish, they're both rarely studied here, so you'll have more chances to find a work due to less competition!!

Finnish is hard to learn too, i tried to do it alone, but is kinda too much if you already have school stuff to study :/
I wonder i'll have to think a lot about this decision...

That's the point, i like it, or i wouldnt have started to learn a 15-declinations language on my own xD I think it's just a matter of time, next year i'll be only focusing just on languages, not that shit of maths and physics and chemistry that im studying right now, it always takes me a lotta time :/
And i'll have english too, but i definitely dont have problems with it, so i can spend more time on new languages

You can def do it, don't worry at all! Passion can bring you everywhere you want to!! ^^
Then here in the forum you can practise a lot & improve it.. even if the best way is going in the Country for a few months! If you can do it..do it :p

I dropped out from about ten different schools/colleges and I finished at a international business college about 1½ year ago. Then I got a disease, which means I'm getting retired soon. I will not be able to study or get a full time job again, so I'm just living the life, and getting the best out of it. Someday I hope I will be able to work a few hours a week :)

Back in my country I started studying medicine... and after finishing the first year I moved to Germany, so I'm trying to learn this horribly hard language to go to university again! (and after that I'll start with Swedish I think..)

Finnish is very hard to learn.
It has 16 (!!!) Grammatikal cases, 6 verbtybes and consonant gradation...and words chance so much within it all x___x It's crazy so a word can change to much that you can't see what the Nominativ is and you need to know all the rules etc. And then there's the spoken Finnish, which varies from the normal, written Finnish.
"Älä teet kuin minä teen" (Don't do it like I do) would be in spoken Finnish sth. like "Älä tee ku mä tee' and that's still very easy and basic
Just read the wikipedia article about Finnish language, but if you really want to, you can study it and learn it. I have just been way to lazy and that's why my Finnish sucks!

Well I have been free for a week already just this one exam. Nothing special
It's kinda easy...as we only get a paper and the first part is correcting sentences in grammar and spelling, the 2nd part is multiple choice question and the 3 part again a text which we need to correct. So yeah :)

No and Karl, the teacher, is really awesome. He actually organized a get together later on Friday and I guess he will play guitar wearing cowboy boots and a cowboy hat

Just got a mail from my communication teacher:
"A comprehensive assignment where you covered a lot of issues in your paper. However, I really would have liked to have seen more direct referencing to theory and litrature listed in the implementation plan, particularly in the first part of your assignment. Despite this, your case study of your Asmo company was well analyzed and presented. You were clearly able to demonstrate your ability to identify your company's theoretical approach behind their communication strategy. All in all, a strong assignment."

Can't believe he gave me a 5 o.O When everbody elso just got a 3 o.O
