I'm not as shy as I used to be, but I still get "shitting my pants" kinda scared in crowds. (I used to be pretty social anxious, was hard to leave the house etc...)
I was pretty good with not getting panic attacks, but recently I got caught in a hostile crowd on a event, and saw some girls fingers being broken in a door because of it. right in front of me, I've never heard anything scream so bad and it wouldn't and wouldn't stop.. it was awful.
Her hand didn't look like a hand anymore after that either... it was terrible, and now I feel like i have to work up all I accomplished again :/
to get over shyness tho, handing out flyers for crashdiet is good practice against it

Well generally I am very open-minded, but I guess it was better at times. Probably it has something to do with kinda adopting a Finnish mentality... But sometimes I feel also...not really uncomfortable, but awkward and weird among new people. Anyway, now it's that I am shy in the beginning and if I would go uo to Peter I would probably be very shy and poke his should and say very shyly "Hi!"

Oh yes! I hate it and I always compare myself with other girls who are slimer/skinnier and tinier than me...

I think that in my case it's quite the opposite actually, I often... despise people to the point where I don't want to talk to them at all. Maybe seems a little rude but that's not it...mrs v. viper wrote: low self-esteem is a bitch :/

You're Italian. That explains everything.

Know the feeling perfectly as I suffer from social anxiety myself. I just can't stand people for some reason.

Same. During last couple of days I sort of agreed with you on certain things, making me realize that we're a bit alike. Don't take it as an insult.

Thank you. I said that because I'm probably the last person people would like to be compared with and I didn't mean to say anything offensive.

Me too! -.- But this is a problem I'm trying to solve step by step! I don't have a lot of faith in human beings, I prefer animals, they always say the truth! Then I don't know how it is in your Coutries, but here in Italy there's a huge loss of values and idiocy is spreading! I love being idiot in a funny way, I love joking.. I'm talking about REAL stupidity! I usually prefer to stay at home.. But I'm happy that I see that not everyone is like that! So I still have a little faith!

Hah, this reminds me myself so much... It's quite nice to know that I'm not the only one with the same problem. Even if the problem isn't nice, of course.
In our country, we also have a lot of idiots. And another thing I really hate about people living here – they hate and avoid everything what's unique, original or "not-the-way-that-it-is-supposed-to-be", because they probably think it's not normal, it's insane and stupid and "bad". It's sad, but sometimes I feel like some people really don't use their own brain... Well, most of them act like this.
Well, some crazy fact about me?
I collect ducks and everything, what looks at least a little bit like a duck.

Oh here too!! I hate narrow minded people!! I've always been "different" in my way of thinking or appearing, not to be a rebel but because I like to express myself in my real essence! Why should I dress in a way I don't like only because it's the "fashion" or because everyone dressed in that way? -.- I can't stand it. They alway judge. I've recently lived next to London for 6 months and I deeply love English people, they're open mindend and they don't care who you are and how you're dressed! They accept you. The same in Stockholm, 3 months ago..
