If you want very loud humbuckers then you have to put a Gibson 500T in it. I put a humbucker like that in my les paul and it sounds killer now!!!

Right now I own An Ibanez GRG 170DX. It's pretty good but as some of you may know, Ibanez's G series are of somewhat lower quality and performance. Here it is :
I'm thinking about trading in the GRG to a guitar store near Stockholm. For this, I'll get abou half the price of it back.

It looks like this! :
It comes in black and blue! What do you all think, please give me you're words of wisdom!

My bass is an Epiphone Explorer that I bought almost 2 years ago, it's my first bass and I've had no problems with it what-so-ever. I run that into a Zoom B2.1u effects pedal, and that into a Hartke 350watt head with a 400watt 4x10+5 Hartke cab.
I also have a couple of nylon string acoustics, but they're nothing to write home about. I started playing classical guitar when I was 6, did that till I was 12 or something then quit because I was a kid and there were way cooler things to do than play guitar. I regret that a lot now! Picked up an acoustic again when I was 16, played around for a bit then got a BC Rich KKV off a friend for pretty cheap and a 10watt Marshall practise amp when I was 17. Had lessons for a few months and started a "band" with some friends, but since I never ever practised I was shit-house. I then bought my bass as we didn't have a bassist, and that was actually the best thing I could have ever done musically. In the last month or so of being 18, I decided that if I was ever going to have a chance at making it in the music industry (despite my lack of skill this was still my ultimate goal), I needed to push myself as hard as I possibly could... so I applied to the Conservatorium of Music and somehow got in! I'm definately not up there musically with all the jazz and classical people there, and probably get looked down upon a fair bit by them, but I have improved ten fold in my time there so far so it's definately been worth it! After graduating next year I plan on moving to the mainland of Australia (probably Melbourne) and starting my serious glam band (I've had a couple down here which have gigged, but it's been covers and people weren't committed), in which I'll play bass! Right now I'm a couple of months off 20, and do guitar/vocals in a Deathrash band down here, we are currently writing our first demo.
Sorry if I dragged on a bit there, got carried away =p
I like this photo so I stick it wherever I can!

yeah Les Paul is great, I LOVE mine. But if ya wanna get the fukkin' high squeals, ya need a strat-style guitar.
