Hello, my name is Ellen. I've been at this forum for almost 3 years now, but I really don't post that much..
I mostly just check out what's been said and post once in a while.
Anyway, I'm turning 17 next month. I go to a very cool boarding school where I study to become a nurse, firefighter or something else that involves saving people.. I love music and I've been playing the guitar since I was about 10 years old. But I really don't think that guitar is my thing so one of my closest friends have started to teach me the piano. I also want to learn how to play the harmonica.
Anyway, I love to party (latley it's been waaayy to much partying. But I drink when I feel happy, and I drink when I feel sad), I also love to hang out with my friends doing other things.
The last concert I went to was I local band from Sundsvall. Did'nt plan on seeing any bands that night but a few friends of mine had booked them to a party. They were pretty good actually.
Anyway, what else do I love? My dormitory. All the people.. You can find everything from rockstars (future rockstars..) to (future) doctors there.
Love it.
I'm the rebel of my family, I'm the only one who cuts my hair in weird haircuts and colour it in cool colours.
During the winter I love to snowboard. Not that very much rock n' roll but what the fuck, it's one of those things that makes me happy.
I pretty much do what I feel like and I don't let anyone else tell me what do do and how to do it. I do things in my own way.

Yeah well.. I don't know what else to say.
ask if there's anything else you'd like to know.

I love snowboarding, it's fast dangerous and fun as fuck. I couldn't care less if it's not rock n roll or not.

I've always wanted to try snowboarding, but I'm wussy as fuck and there's nowhere you can properly do it over here. I mean, we have a couple of rubbish 'snow domes' but that's about it

I think that Kirk Hammet is an absolutely useless guitarist who just uses speed to show off, Truiljo looks like a monkey when he is playing, Hetfield can't sing at all and don't even get me started about Lars.

They managed to do a few good songs because of Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton, but that was all.

Im 16years old and from finland. i've been played guitar for 6 years and drums over 14 years.. i like hair metal and stuff like that.. Favorite bands are Van Halen, Def Leppard, HCSS, Skid Row, TOTO, Stryper, Mötley etc..Oh, and Reckless Love is goo also!(and crashdiet ofc) I like all music styles but hair metal is my thing. I also love to make music with computer..

You're my enemy #1 now, haha . Just kidding, it's your opinion and I respect it. Although as the biggest Metallica fan on the planet I absolutely disagree with you. Kirk never considered himself as the best guitarist but he's surely one of 'em. Maybe Rob looks like a monkey but it's about playing, right? And he's one of the most talented bassists ever. James is singing much better nowadays and remember he's playing super fast riffs at the same time, not to mention he's probably the most nice person on Earth and extremely talented song-writer. And his charisma is beyond amazing. Lars could not be the best drummer but he's the heart of the band and because of him Metallica has never played the same setlist since late 2003 (playing few hundreds shows since then). Now tell me: which band does that? On the last tour they've performed over 70 songs live, playing 18 songs each night. I could write for hours about them as I'm their fan for over 10 years and I know everything about them . Of course I won't force anyone to listen to Metallica but there are many facts you don't know about them. And you have no idea how nice and kind people to fans they are, still being one of the biggest bands ever.
Dave Mustaine is good and I like Megadeth but I'm glad he's not in Metallica. As for Cliff - probably the best bass player ever, may he rest in peace.
If anyone of you will have any questions to me about Metallica - feel free . And sorry for little off topic .

You're welcome, really cool photo . As for Metallica, I don't know if we need a topic 'cause I'd be defending them no matter what, 'til the last drop of blood . I'd just like to make you all more enlightened when it comes to them .

I saw crashdiet live a couple of months back and it was amazing and got me listening to other sleaze bands
Previously, before seeing crashdiet my music taste was very different

I live in bristol, UK, play drums and fave band at the moment is, believe it or not, crashdiet

you go to "User Control Panel" in the upper left, then there you have that bar with different options where you chose "profile", and then on the left you can chose "edit avatar"

stuff like that is tricky! I was going to get myself an avatar yesterday nut I couldnät use it cuz' it has to be 36 kb or less
