uhm I guess people here "know" me a little as well since I'm here almost everyday since over a year or so and this is more for new members I guess?, but for those who don't know, I'm Anna, I'm 20 years old, I'm from the financial town Frankfurt on Main in germany (financial town means it sucks but I love it anyway), I do stupid things like travelling after certain bands alot more than it's healthy for my pockets, I get very annoying times where I start to philosoph about unimportant things. I like to write and I like to draw, and I'm trying to become a visual artist of any sort, though the plan is to become a communication designer first (that means I will learn how to make ads, commercials and so on, layout magazines, marketing strategies, webdesign etc.) so I can live of something.
Oh. and I'm one of the organizers of the german Crashdiet streetteam.
that's it.

Thanks for setting the standard, Mrs V. Viper!
Well, I'm Julie Wilhelmine from Norway, which btw is so damn cold right now!
17 years old. Young enough to live, but old enough to know. I have a perfect son,
who's almost 6 months now. I love to create and express through art and I consider
myself an artist.
The band who stole my heart was Wig Wam, and they've really changed me and my
life. When I heard Crashdïet for the first time it really hit me hard, and I really
loved it. Now I'm the organizer of the Norwegian StreetTeam and I'm very proud
to be able to do that.
My plan for the future is to become a famous tattoo-artist and writer. You'll see me out there!

I think the first time I heard Crashdïet was live (I think it was -07), supporting Hardcore Superstar in Lisebergshallen. I thought they were absolutley awesome, and when I got home and heard the first record, I was hooked... been an fan since then.
Oh and yeah, almost forgot, I'm single at the moment. And I'm open for... suggestions

My name is Caroline, I'm a 20 year old vegetarian who live in Västerås (Sweden!) That's just 1½ hour from Stockholm but it's still a lot of trouble to go there and see bands that I like, so unfortunately that doesn't happen too often. Planning on changing that next year

During the days I study to become a kindergarten teacher! Can't really think of any other occupation that I'm interested in. On my spare time I dance, which I've been doing for the past 10 years. Dancing means just as much to me as music means to Crashdïet, so I don't know what I would do without it.
My life has, as everyone elses, had ups and downs. I went through a four year long depression but have been doing great for the past two years

I'm really happy I found this forum where I can speak to people who like this type of rockmusic, cause not a lot of my friends does. Even though I'm working on changing their minds

Yeah, that'd be cool...
Maybe we need a dating thread asswell?

Ok, so I'm Axl...
I live in the southern part of sweden called skåne which I'm not very proud of actually, I'm originally from stockholm. I have a wierd taste in music, probably since it's my main intrest. My favourite bands are Crashdïet, Guns N Roses, Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, Turbonegro, Dissection, Marilyn Manson, GG Allin, Hawkwind and Alter Egon. There's alot more of them but there's no need to list more stuff... I'm 17 and still go to bloody school, most of the time I play guitar. My main goal in life is to be a huge rockstar, I know it sounds like I'm 3 years old but all I want is to play my music to as many people as possible. Don't know if thatz enough, ask me anything you want...

i'm Sara and I live in Uppsala, Sweden. A great place to live since it's in the "middle" of the whole country hihi. And only just 45 minutes from Stockholm! And I can also visit David's grave every once and a while.
I'm a bit schizophrenic person, and I embrace every moment I go thru (good or bad). I wouldn't survive without music, art and literature (geeky and proud of it) and at a very young age I decided to dedicate my life to liberation and freedom and music. And writing! Besides school I write tons and tons of poems and novels. it's like the voices in my head never shuts up!
Well, favorite bands... Lady Gaga, Blue October, Crashdiet, Alter Egon, Mötley Crue, KISS, WASP. And I'm addicted to concerts! So yeah.

hell yeah, and here's nr. 2: ME !
I'm Sandy, i'm 15 and i live in Baden-Baden, Germany. (that's pretty next to the border to France, maybe about 5 minutes away with the car)
i love playing guitar and i also like to learn new languages (at the moment it's Swedish (skål!

i've got a .. funny.. music taste i'd say.. coz i love Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Melodic Metal, sometimes even Blackmetal, Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal, Hair Metal, Sleaze n' Glam, Progressive Rock/Metal, Hard Rock, Blues(rock) and 80's pop

i don't think i should mention the bands coz so the list would never end XD
here, i'm a member now for more than a year, and i gotta say that i love the forum and the people here are great

i discovered Crashdiet on youtube.. i was watching the video to HCSS' "wild boys" and i later i saw that "Crashdiet - Riot in Everyone" was recommended.. first i thought: "crashdiet? what's THAT for a bandname." but i gave it a listen.. and i was blown away

Crashdiet has changed my life (even two times xD) and i'm glad about that.. otherwise i'd have never really started to listen to Sleaze and Glam and such.. (but now i'm addicted to Crashdiet haha

btw, Rest In Sleaze has become the most important album in my life..
and well.. as I mentioned above, i'm also one of the organizers of the German Crashdiet Streetteam, and i'm proud of it

you're north of heaven
maybe somewhere west of hell

How I found Crashdiet is a long story but they helped me out of being really fucked up and depressive. I saw them the first time live on new years eve 2009/2010 in Copenhagen, the 3rd concert with Simon if I'm not wrong, and it was a great experience

Otherwise my taste in music is very wide (and some say weird) I like everything that is good and I don't like "constructed" music (i.e. most pop but also that very technical guitar play of some Metal bands) I like east european and irish folk, Punk, and obviously all that glam n hardrock stuff has a special place in my heart. But I also like eminem alot (you can calm down it's the only hiphop I like) and a couple of alternative bands. My favorites beside Crash are (at the moment): HIM, Gogol Bordello, Anything Jack White has his fingers in, My chemical romance, D-A-D, David Garrett, Johnny Burning, Dope Stars Inc., Ratt, Buzzcocks & Hanoi Rocks.
it changes quite often tho.

I play bass and sing, looking for a band at the moment. i also like to write and am trying to get my first novel published and I work for a UK alternative music magazine called Bubblegum Slut (you've probably seen my failing attempts to advertise it floating around the forum xD) but on that note, if you have any ideas for features or reviews/interviews then let me know!
other than that, I'm at school, hoping to do my A levels at college next year. I've been through episodes of depression over the past two years but seem to be picking up right now; i've had similar ups and downs but i won't go through all those! my favourite bands must be Skid Row, Vain, Crashdiet, Firehouse, HCSS but they change often and I like loads others within the glam/sleaze sound and rock'n'roll. I love going to gigs, London is the main area i go to and it's where I first saw Crashdiet. all this music changed my life

No CRASHDIET, no MrLee and any band he has formed.
Big inspiration, great band that kept me interested in modern music throughout the 00s. The shit on offer in England didnt and still doesnt appeal to me, id of gone insane without any new bands to relate to.

I discovered Crashdiet three years ago, but started to like them a year after that. I dont really know why it took me a year until I started to like them, anyway, now Im stuck. Rest In Sleaze is probably the album that I've listened to most times in my life, can't get enuff. I've seen the band 5 times, first time at Sweden Rock Cruise, and last time in the globe, opening for Ozzy. Except from Crash, I love HCSS, Ratt, Crue, Wasp, and the rest of the 80s rock/metal/glam scene. Also like bands like Dire Straits, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rainbow, and a lot of other bands from the 70s.

Great to be here and nice to see at least one familiar face - Sandy I allready got to know via myspace and facebook.
Some words about myself: I've been into Hard Rock/Metal for about 19 years now (I am 28, just started pretty early). Started making music at the age of 12, I am active in two bands. Feel free to ask, if you like to know about that.
Rightnow I work as a freelance journalist, chief editor for a german online-zine called more-metal.com to be exact.
But I am planning to turn pro in the event-business.
Would be really nice to get in contact with more German fans, specially from the Ruhr-Area and of course I enjoy to meet other fans from all over the place.
Have a sleazy sunday

Post your myspace in that thread, I wanna hearKate Roxx wrote: My main band called Sharyn (if you happen to find a user with the same name, that is also me, but I thought I'd be better to go with another name). It is an all-female and we play a kinda mix of Rock and Deathmetal.
The other one is called Foxxy Coxx and as one might guess: We play Sleaze...or at least this is the plan. Since the band just started this week :guitar: :drums: :vocals:
Sorry, just discovered that thread...I will post something there as well!!!
