How did you discover Crashdïet?

a friend of mine sent me a link to one of videos... I watched, I listened and I liked what I saw and heared

i discovered Crashdiet cause a spanish friend linked me a video on youtube and i suddenly thought omg this is just awesome!

Oh you've been there as well?? Are you from Germany?
And you're totally right about all the T-shirts! If it's gonna be like that again next year, Crashdiet will feel reeeeally welcome there

Hahaha, okay this is embarrasing but whatever.
As a little kid, I had VERY few friends (I thought they all were assholes..) and I used to hang in record stores instead of playing with lego or other shit other kids did. So one day I were sick of the un-badass acoustic shit I was listening to and found Guns N Roses. And got stuck.

After a while, I was searching for something new, and found Crashdïet. and since that I've listened to them!

I first heard about Crashdïet from Martins brother

From Wikipedia, when i was searching information about Reckless Love. Just noticed photo of their second Cd and said "I want them" even without hearing any of songs. Now they are among my the most favourite bands.

I don't exactly remember, but I think it was after the release of RIS, someone wanted it a rate in a forum/board.
I listen and rate it 8 of 10... but it took time to get really caught...

I remember I found the band called Peepshow,I have no idea if you guys konw they had covered "Breakin the chain"? I don't konw well about Crashdiet then,so I google them!
First album Rest in Sleaze makes me crash about them.

I went to see the 69 eyes and Hardcore superstar in early 2011. Crashdiet were also playing and I had never heard of them. So I went to the 02 Academy in Newcastle and there was a power cut, I was gutted thought the gig was going to be cancelled, but Crashdiet still came out and played an acoustic set and I remember just being there in the audience thinking wow I am in total heaven this has to be one of the most amazing ever bands I have ever heard, even though there was no power, everything was done without electricity and to have a little light torches were used. Once they had finished we all had to go outside and wait to see if the power could be sorted, during this time I was on my phone looking up crashdiet. Thankfully a while later the power was back on and I did get to see the 69 eyes But since then I have been a diehard Crashdiet fan with them being in my top 3 fav bands of all time, they were by far the best band that night and that night was the best night of my whole life...True story=)

Got to know them through friends and message boards of other Finnish bands and wanted to see them live for quite a while. Somehow that never worked out, as I was moving around Europe for about 2 years...so I always missed them. But finally I got a change to see the guys supporting the Crüe in June in Helsinki...best day of the whole year...3 awesome band at the same day...amazing
Now I am waiting for the new LP and the DVD (Yeah for tax return in Dec.)

My brother told me about them, but I wasn't in a sleaze mood.. so I kept the name in mind for the future! After HCSS gig there was a rock djset, and it played "Breakin' the chainz".. I searched for it and I totally fell in love with them!! Pure energy&party hard songs.. and now I'm here!

My girlfriend (Sheila) talked about them and dave when we were in a record store, around the time Olli was in the band. The store had rest in sleaze so i bought it after that i was hooked

Crashdiet had half-page story/interview on finnish music magazine Suosikki year 2005 with a picture. I loved the attitude and funny names of the members so i explored and even bought same kinda ripped yellow tights Dave was wearing, without having even heard any music I was 13 so its 7years ago..

Stumbled upon them through related videos on YT.

Must've been 5 or 6 years ago.. I've always been a huge fan of the 80's style hairbands and naturally I wanted to find more and more of those bands that didn't quite make it back in the day. Then Vains of Jenna opened for Poison one summer and I realized there were modern bands with the style, attitude, and sound that I loved, so I started searching for the new bands too. For the longest time Dirty Penny was my absolute favorite band and through the youtube videos and recommendation from the band members of Dirty Penny I listened to Crashdiet.

I listened a few times and didn't really like it a whole lot. I had recently discovered Sister at that time too, and they were really taking up all my music time. I played all their demos on repeat for at least three months straight. Then I went back and tried to listen to Crashdiet again. Finally it clicked and I fell in love with everything Crashdiet and never looked back since then.

I'm not sure about it... As far as I can remember, sometime back in 2005 a friend had bought RIS in Sweden and thought I might like it too so he lend it to me and well... he was right, I liked it

I discovered Crashdiet only about 2 years ago, but I can't remember how it happened already. O:) It was just lucky coincidence. Or destiny?
I know it was on Youtube and the very first Crashdïet song I heard was Generation Wild. Well, I don't know what I was searching for. Maybe some of the people I "met"/found on the internet had the same favourites bands as me and he/she had also your band in his/her list of favourites bands, so I wanted to have a look on it (because I'm extremely curiuous!)... I guess the imporant thing is that I liked (and still like) the song and the clip and I found you very ass-kicking, interesting and unique with great music.
Immediately after it, I listened to Riot in Everyone and Breaking the Chainz and I probably became a little bit addicted, hah...

About 7 years ago. I was browsing the Youtube videos section of Sleazeroxx when I found the videos for Breakin' The Chainz, It's A Miracle and Knokk 'Em Down. I was very impressed. :cool:

Was 3 years ago or so, I was watching videos on youtube and found its a miracle! Beautiful song, from there investigate and found the rest. since then are my favorite! :cool:
