Mobile forum app! Finally! (Tapatalk) was created by peterlondon
I'm extremely pleased to announce that our beloved forum has teamed up with Tapatalk so from now on you can use their app to cure your forum abstinence whenever you're away from your computer but happen to have a smartphone available 
.
Notifications seems to be fully functional, both for new posts in the forums that you subscribe to (within the Tapatalk app) and you will also be notified once someone quotes you.
The instructions below are for an older version than the one that's around now but the process should be similar. If they changed completely maybe someone is up for writing a new guide?
For the iPhone
(The process should be very similar for Android phones...)
1. Go to App Store, search for "Tapatalk" and download it.
2. Open Tapatalk and sign up for a Tapatalk account. I chose to connect with Facebook so it was a very quick process.
3. Seach for "Crashdiet" and tap on it.
4. Tap on the menu in the top right corner, and then "Join or Sign In"
5. For now we have to chose "Use Different Profile" here, sign in with your usual forum username / password! That should be it!

TIP : Go to your Tapatalk profile and select "Night Reading mode" for a darker theme

It is working correctly on my phone, I am happy it worked here.

I've actually started to really like this Tapatalk app. There are some minor issues here and there ofc but I hope to be able to work them out together with the Tapatalk developers real soon.
The great thing is that you can find other forum with subjects that interests you, and all of a sudden you have an app with tons of interesting discussions. All in forum forum, much prefered by us old people who never, ever seem to get comfortable with Facebook

EDIT: Just realized that the kind of forums we follow might tell us a whole lot about what kind of person we are, haha. Here's my current list
